Feather LED Lamp
thingiverse
Hey Everybody, I'm excited to share my new feather bedside LED lamp. It's printed on the Ultimaker Original Plus with PETG from Prima Filaments, and it was a great first try printing something with this material and featuring holes for feathers. You don't often see this kind of special item anywhere else. I hope you'll enjoy it. Now I'm going to share the parts used in its construction. I purchased everything on Amazon, and the links are created with the Amazon partner network, so clicking on them will take you directly to the product pages where you can see what's needed to build the lamp. The materials include: Prima Filaments PS-PETG-285-0750-CL PrimaSelect PETG Filament, 2.85 mm, 750 g, Clear Prima Filaments PS-PLA-285-0750-BZ PrimaSelect PLA Filament, 2.85 mm, 750 g, Bronze 10-pack V-TAC 4123 E14 4W LED Bulb Lamp in Drop Shape, 2700K Warm White, 320 Lumen, 180° Beam Angle MAILUX E14 Socket with Cable | 2m Power Cord | Plug | with Switch | White | Renovation Housing | Building Fitting | E14 Lamp | Suitable for LEDs Edit: Here's the link to the feather box I used. I needed two colored boxes and three white ones (some feathers were not usable, so I bought extra to select the best ones). You don't need to fill every hole - using fewer feathers will result in a brighter light. Federn in Box 15gr., about 270 pieces, 5-10cm, TOP PRICE!!! Print Settings: Printer Brand: Ultimaker Printer Model: Ultimaker Original Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.1 Infill: 15% Notes: This was my first try printing with PETG. I printed this lamp using the following settings: Speed: 40mm/s Hotend Temperature: 220°C Bed Temperature: 90°C Be careful when working with PETG, as it can become too strong and damage your printer's ground. If you're new to printing with PETG, start with smaller parts first. How I Designed This: Construction: Hey Everybody, If you need the construction files to edit something... just let me know or write a note, and I'll share them with you. You can get the files in .step, .iges, *.sldprt formats...
