Feature B at 42Sa27020, situated just outside Moab, Utah, is an ephemeral pit feature boasting a substantial roasting pit, a compact hearth, and multiple small storage units. Macrobotanical samples extracted from the fill yield charred beans, corn, and pinyon seeds. Recovered artifacts comprise numerous projectile points, drills, ground stone, and diverse pottery types. Pottery analysis suggests that this structure dates to the PII-PIII period.
