FEA Hex Mesh Coaster

One of the tools at the disposal of an engineer is Finite Element Analysis. In the process of this the item being investigated needs to be meshed into discreet parts, preferbly hexahedral.This design is a coaster based off the common pattern for meshing cylinders, a butterfly mesh.It is a very simple print. The attached gcode is for a Prusa Mini+ using Prusament PLA, printing at 0.2mm layer height. Avoid crossing perimeters is on to prevent stringing. Or slice your own using the stl.While I have not tested it, this design should work scaled (the mesh lines are 1.5mm wide so not too much smaller. Likewise, while not tested, this design would be good with a colour change at the mid point layer.A good gift to any engineer in your life.(Painfully braggy mug not included)
