FDM Multicolor Extruder Tip
thingiverse
Construct a 3-Color CMY Mixing Head from scratch, complete with an additional feed slot for soluble medium (e.g., bridging). To design this head, use the provided IGES file in construction software like SolidWorks, Siemens NX, or Catia. For the distributor and mixer, 3D print using a Selective Laser Melting printer made of stainless steel; costs should not exceed €50 for this service. Consider simplifying the mixing process to eliminate 3D printing needs, as standard workshop machinery can handle threadings. Solder the mixer and distributor with 500°C solder, and use M4 threads for inlet and outlet to fit "spitze." Install heating along the length of the head from the filament crossing down to the tip. Remaining tasks include fluid mixing simulation, CMY software for RepRaps, cooling rips at non-heat segments, and insulation of heat to the extrusion section.
