FDL-1 Blaster

For top results, print with MatterHackers PRO Series PLA. The FDL-1 is a robotic foam dart launcher that packs a punch. It's a high-powered, fully automatic, web-enabled device that can be transformed into multiple forms, including the handheld blaster version. This launcher fires Nerf Mega size darts and holds 12 of them at a time. With a shooting range of over 100 feet parallel to the ground and reaching speeds of up to 120fps on a chronograph, it's an intense and awesome experience. Designed to fit snugly in no smaller than a 6x6x6-inch bed and optimized for use with a 0.4mm nozzle, this printer is ready for action. You shouldn't need supports, but a brim around some of the long, skinny parts will help. I always print the FDL-1 with a heated bed and have found that PLA yields more accurate results than ABS, which is just as strong in most cases. Plus, it's easier on my printers. Some light sanding may be required after printing, and you'll need a 6-32 and a 10-32 tap to thread a number of holes. I made sure to design the FDL-1 with print-and-play in mind, but every printer is unique, so some adjustments might be necessary.
