FDG Temperature Towers
thingiverse
After adjusting my extrusion settings, I discovered that printing groups of miniatures from Fat Dragon Games resulted in significant stringing issues. To test the effect of different temperatures on stringing, I used Cura 4.4 with the FDG profiles for minis and terrain (4mm nozzle variants) to slice temp towers. These gcode files are ready-to-print directly on an Ender-3. The towers feature a small notch every 3mm, indicating temperature changes, with each section printed at specific temperatures: * 180c at the top * 185c * 190c * 195c * 200c * 205c * 210c at the bottom Print this test to identify optimal stringing and quality performance when using FDG profiles. Adjust temperature settings accordingly. The STL file is included for slicing in other software or printer configurations, but remember to modify gcode to change temperatures at 4.5mm and every 3mm thereafter.
With this file you will be able to print FDG Temperature Towers with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on FDG Temperature Towers.
