The latest series of g-code releases features popular "favorite robots" for plotting or drawing purposes. MakerBot community members can contribute by scanning, tracing, and sharing their favorite robotic designs. These images are compatible with the MakerBot Unicorn Pen Plotter but can be adapted to other tools like the Frostruder. Source files are provided for customization. The images were created in preparation for MakerFaire NYC 2010, where Wall-E and Roomba were highly requested, along with Star Wars characters. Improved dxf conversion was used to create speedier prints of R2-D2 and C-3PO, available on Thingiverse.com. Users are encouraged to share their unique robot designs for the community to see!
