FavioR's Battery Case

FavioR's Battery Case

Needed a reliable battery case for kids to use, so I designed one with the features I wanted:\n-Easy to print (so support not needed)\n-Low Profile\n-Screw holes to secure it to your project\n-No soldering required\n-ON/OFF switch included*\n11/05/15 Update: Minimal change to give sides extra support. Also added very small (1mm) 45-degree indents in all edges to help remove case from print bed**\nUses metal zip ties (no sharp edges) to make battery contacts. Easy to cut with tin snips and bend into shape with needle nose pliers. \nSmall grooves along contact holes allow cables to be inserted like a breadboard for easy connections to your projects. The batteries press against the contacts pinning the cables in place. \nMake an ON/OFF switch using a paper clip or another zip-tie and some small screws, or add a jumper between the two for a traditional battery pack (no soldering needed!) \nA simple design that I hope you can use or improve upon.\nPrint Settings:\nRafts: No\nSupports: No\nInfill: 10%
