A 2nd century AD marble head sculpture of Faustina the Younger is on display. Dimensions are approximately 0.32 meters tall, 0.19 meters wide and deep. The museum received this gift in 1850 from Dr John Disney. References include: Michaelis' 1882 book "Ancient marbles in Great Britain" number 58. Budde's and Nicholls' 1967 publication "Catalogue of the Greek and Roman sculpture in the Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge" number 116 with plate 39. Disney's 1846 catalog "Museum Disneianum : being a description of a collection of ancient marbles, in the possession of John Disney" page xxii.
