It is a sculpture of a round bundle of polychrome plaster, depicting the Fauno with Kid, the god of the forest. This replica was created during the XVII-XIX century in the same workshop where the original one was discovered in the XVII century, although it originated from a Greek bronze original that arrived through a Roman copy from the second century A.D.. The original sculpture is currently housed at the Prado Museum.
