Faun
myminifactory
This is an ancient sculpture of a faun, a mythological half human-half goat-creature that originated in Ancient Rome. The goat man, commonly linked to the Satyrs of Greek mythology or Fauns of Roman descent, is a bipedal creature with the legs and tail of a goat and the head, arms, and torso of a human being. Often depicted with goat's horns and pointed ears, these creatures borrowed their appearance from the god Pan in the Greek pantheon. They served as symbols of fertility, and Silenus, a minor deity of Greek mythology, was their chieftain.
