Faucet Valve Handle(Press Fit)

Faucet Valve Handle(Press Fit)

Hardware store is too far away, and fuel costs are steep. It's easier and cheaper to print a handle rather than buy one. If I make it myself, why not share it? You'll get the .stl file and OpenSCAD source for an outdoor faucet valve handle that measures about 5mm thick with ~1mm ridges, making it roughly 7mm in diameter overall. My object features a 5mm hole in the center. The best press-fit will likely be while the freshly printed handle is still hot. I can probably use a stainless steel washer and an M2 or M3 screw to secure this handle. If the fit isn't good, I'll pull and edit it before printing. I initially undersized the hole, but I used an old unregulated soldering iron and melted the hole slightly, then pressed on as planned, and it works for now. Sizing the hole at 6.5mm might provide a better fit for the 7mm total OD of the ridges.
