You may encounter leaks. To prevent it from happening, place two silicone or rubber o-rings on both ends and also some teflon tape on the outer threads. This will seal the potential leaks.This adaper is to allow you to connect a showerhose to a faucet.The mm threads are 1mm for the faucet and 2,5mm for the showerhose. It may not fit your faucet, because every country is different (I think). I'm from the Netherlands and took the measurements myself.
