Faucet Repair (broken handle)

This is a faucet with a handle that is popular in Korea. I know the product is made in China. After using it for a long time, the welded part of the metal handle often falls off. (Welded part breaks) I didn't want to change the whole faucet just because of that, so I made this. It is divided into the part that goes inside the faucet head and the handle, and it is actually more important than the handle. The handle is a narrow and long structure, so it is better to set the brim. These are the measurements for a suitable faucet handle diameter : 9.85 mm faucet head diameter : 45 mm Improvements ------------------- Since it is a long structure on one side, if you output it upright, the filament output will be perpendicular to the axis, so it will be weak against forces perpendicular to the axis. I came up with two solutions (in fact, I accidentally handled the handle with too much force and cut it at the weak point). Solution 1 Instead of printing upright, we could lay it horizontally. If you give up the perfect circle shape, you can output vertically and get a stronger output against orthogonal forces. Solution 2 You can increase the strength by driving a metal screw in the axial direction. I used the second method and inserted a Socket Head Cap Screw M3 x 30mm screw into the center of the handle. other tips ------------ You can also use the original metal handles that have fallen off. Use the Female Thread Knurled Nut Brass Threaded Insert Embedment Nuts to insert only the threaded part of the handle into the printed part to join the welds of the original handle. It's almost impossible to tell that the original metal handle has been replaced by a 3D printed structure because it's still visible.
