Faucet Knob Replacement

<p>One of the kitchen faucet knobs came loose and could not be installed anymore. A plastic mounting clip broke and finally got lost. In the following picture you can see this part is missing in the upper knob.</p><figure class="image image_resized image-style-align-center" style="width:50%;"><img src="https://media.printables.com/media/prints/299385/rich_content/3df14d03-f71d-4ae2-870d-4fe895c45282/img_2522.jpeg#%7B%22uuid%22%3A%229a76a7eb-7a99-47c6-8ce2-64b6da85f9c5%22%2C%22w%22%3A906%2C%22h%22%3A1525%7D"></figure><p>Since a replacement clip would not be printable (FDM), a new knob was required. After using the new knob for a while to prove its functionality, the other knob was replaced as well for optical reasons.</p><p><strong>Printing:</strong></p><p>I printed the knob body in white Prusament PETG with a 0.4mm nozzle and 0.15mm layer height.</p><p>For the color dot I used Prusament PLA Blend in Royal Blue / Miss Pink, 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layer height, concentric bottom infill pattern.</p><p>The dot was fixed on the body using superglue.</p>
