I carefully adjusted the picture to illustrate how the OEM aerator functions, revealing a narrow stream of air that I aimed to replicate and broaden at the same time. My goal was clear: to maintain some of the original flow while spreading it out, just like I had experienced with previous aerators. To achieve this, I cleverly redirected part of the airflow from the OEM aerator through small holes on the outside.
