Faucet Aerator Cover Wrench

Faucet Aerator Cover Wrench

thingiverse

A generic (and likely very specific) wrench to remove the plastic end of a kitchen sink faucet to access the aerator. Comes in several variants: Tabbed/untabbed and 19mm/22mm socket end. Tabbed have small tabs that go into the holes around the edge of the aerator. They mainly help hold the wrench in place, and tend to shear off after one use. The attached pictures are of a tabbed wrench with sheared tabs. The untabbed version works just fine. The socket ends are to get enough torque to actually remove the head. Simply attach a socket (or a box wrench, or pliers, or whatever) and turn by hand. Depending on what size you have, use the 22mm (~7/8") or 19mm (~3/4") variant. I hope this is useful either as is, or as an inspiration to make one for a different style of faucet. Enjoy!
