FatWhip V1 - Fatshark Regulated Cable

I'm building a FatWhip regulated fatshark cable to ditch the weight of batteries attached to my head. This setup lets me strap it to my belt or keep it in my pocket and flip a switch to turn on and off my goggles with ease. I've chosen 12V Carling switches for their simple ON-OFF design, paired them with a Pololu 5~35V Stepdown Regulator set at 8.4v, some LED's, and two voltmeters that display the battery voltage and output voltage in real-time. Here are the parts I'm using: - A large Carling 12V switch for its clear ON-OFF functionality - Two DC Volt Meters - one a compact 0.28" model and the other a 0.56" version (used but still reliable) - The Pololu Stepdown Regulator to ensure stable voltage output - XT30, XT60 connectors for secure connections - A 2.1mm Barrel connector for flexibility - A 2S Balance Lead for balanced power distribution
