It fits a 10 pin socket and a small perf board to give it extra stability (about 3 holes wide, might need some sanding to fit perfectly). It accommodates the boost converter linked here: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/DC-DC-Boost-Converter-Step-Up-Module-1V-5V-to-Stable-5Volts-500mA-Power-Module/262997798474?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649. A cutout for wires is also included. Eachine VR006 goggles were used in this setup. The boost converter was powered directly from the external battery (two 18650 cells connected in parallel, plugged into the stock battery connector on the mainboard). The video signal goes to the video in port on the goggles, and the original receiver is still intact so you can easily switch between it and the external receiver.
