Fatshark - GoPro Head Strap - Clips
thingiverse
These adapters allow you to use a GoPro-style head strap with your Fatshark Dominator V3 goggles. They might fit other models, but I haven't found another one to test it on yet. If you successfully use these adapters with a different goggle, let me know through comments. I find that adding the over-the-head strap makes wearing the goggles more comfortable and feels more secure. You'll need to cut away the back plastic plate of the head strap; this piece will become the front part, while those loops in the strap will be used to secure the straps onto the clips - see pictures for reference. You can use a bit of Velcro on the original GoPro mount's backing and attach your battery there instead. You'll need to create a battery extension so it reaches the power socket on your goggles. To build this setup, you'll need to print two Headband Clips and one of each other part. Each clip is printed in 2 parts; they must be glued together using CA glue, which worked well for me - see pictures for details. If you have any questions or concerns, please post them in the comments section.
