I designed this support after suffering a breakage of the antenna fitting from the receiver module inside my goggles. The construction of these goggles leaves much to be desired; removing and refitting antennas inevitably causes the SMA fitting to snap off the PBC. I was able to solder it back on, but seeing the fragile nature of the design prompted me to create this support. To make it work, you'll need a short SMA pigtail lead with a right-angle chassis mount fitting on the outer end - mine came from BangGood and cost only a few dollars. You'll also need some double-sided foam core tape to secure it in place. This unusual contraption has certainly made my goggles more robust, but unfortunately, they no longer fit in their original case. That's a major drawback. On the other hand, mounting the antenna slightly further away from my head theoretically improves performance, and in practice, this setup performs just as well as the original.
