FatShark Dominator Light Blockers
thingiverse
These fan shrouds and inner hole covers effectively block the remaining light from entering your eyes on Dominator model goggles. The fan shroud can be printed with or without the Shark Fin, but keep in mind that with the fin installed, the goggle case will not close properly, whereas the standard shroud fits just fine. The internal hole plugs have one smooth side and another with a lip to secure them in place. This lip should face towards the strap when you insert the plug. If it takes excessive force to snap the plug into position, simply trim a small amount from the retaining rib at the top or bottom to make it easier to insert. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Robo 3D Printer Model: R1 ABS + PLA Model Rafts: No rafts are used. Supports: No supports are needed. Resolution: A resolution of 100 microns, or 0.1mm, is used. Infill: The infill percentage is set to 100%. Notes: I prefer printing at a higher resolution for optimal results, but both resolutions work without issues when printed between 0.3-0.1mm. For the shrouds, print them with no supports to minimize loose strings, although your mileage may vary. Shroud Printing Instructions: Rotate the shroud so that the flat side with four holes faces down on the bed. Plug Installation: When inserting the plugs, place the side with the full perimeter lip facing downwards.
