Fatshark Batterypack for 18650 LiIon
thingiverse
I engineered a customized Housing for two high-capacity 18650 LiIon Cells to seamlessly integrate with my Fatsharks. The exterior also accommodates a compact capacity/voltage indicator board, which I sourced from banggood for an easy 2s setup. After receiving the cells, I successfully installed them, and everything works flawlessly. Although my Housing is slightly larger than the standard Fatshark units, it still fits snugly into the headstrap with a gentle push. I strongly advise against soldering the cells unless you possess advanced skills; however, if you do decide to proceed: utilize a powerful soldering iron exceeding 80W (I utilized one boasting 150W) and maintain full heat with rapid heating/soldering times. Ensure that each cell is allowed to cool completely before attempting another solder joint.
