Father's Fort

This is a remix of Grandpa's Fort (GF) by ooklaboo. An wonderful project that makes a wonderful present for a child. I found that the GF joints that were printed flat held up really well. However the joints that had legs perpendicular to the print bed (called verticals in GF) would break at the based of the perpendicular leg. These are pieces like 2_Corner_Mid_Connector, 10_Corner_With_Vertical and 13_Cross_With_Sinble_Vertical. This is because those legs are more susceptible to print delamination. My remix contains pieces that slide together to make perpendicular legs These pieces can be printed flat to avoid the delamination weakness. There are four pieces total that can be mixed and matched to create functionally identical pieces to the following GF pieces: 2_Corner_Mid_Connector 3_Cross 10_Corner_With_Vertical 13_Cross_With_Sinble_Vertical 14_Cross_With_Dual_Vertical 15_Connector_-_Straight 17_Connector_90 18_Connector_T Print Settings Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 40% Filament material: PLA
