Fat-Thumb-Mini-Vise* UPDATED *** Ram-V3 uploaded for stronger-longer-lasting threads and grip.* UPDATED 2*** Ram-V4 uploaded for stronger-longer-lasting threads.* UPDATED 3*** Uploaded extra main base file to use without aluminum rod. Should be nearly just as strong as with using the rod on the bottom. Will need protruding long 10-24 machine screws 3.5 inches long. Use #11 drill bit to ream out the back main base guide holes for the 2 machine screws.* UPDATED 4*** Uploaded a set of face-plates for the ram-facings. Use these to save the face on the main-base. Replace them as needed.Measurements in inches:2.1250 Long1.5 Wide15/16" Tall.Small Vise!! But it's really handy!!This is a extra-nise little mini finger-vise. Works great. Opens up to 1-inch. For those tinythings needing a bit of filing or dremiling or painting, gluing etc... Uses 10-24 standard flat-head Phillips screws with a washer. I had a few stainless steel screws laying around and used them. Has a small 3/16 inch bottom aluminum round rod slide-guild on it. You may can do without it for lots of your work. Use what you have. Also has recess for 10-24 nuts, but I did not have any and found out they were not needed at least while it is new. Yet as it wears a bit they may be needed.Use a #25 drill bit and ream the ram part and it will cut is's own threads. Ream the front screw holes with a #11 bit for screws to slide in and out without threads. Use a 3/16th drill bit to ream the slide-guild rod holes in both parts. Sand-paper where needed, you need close sliding and fits.I am really proud of mine........hope yours works out as well, Thanks, Rick.
