Fat Spool for Cetus3D v3
thingiverse
Fat Spool for Cetus3D is an adapter designed to minimize the rocking seen when using wider and heavier spools on smaller holders. It can also be printed without supports. If this is your first print and you want to use less plastic, make sure you specifically disable supports in the Cetus software (they are enabled by default, find it under Print->Preferences). If you see a weird chunky wavy surface on your print, those are supports and they are totally fine - just tear them off with the cutters once the print is done. Be sure to re-enable supports for future prints, as not everything can be printed without supports. It has an effective diameter of 50mm, and with the lip it's designed to work like a 60mm one, but it doesn't get stuck on 50mm spools. It's 80mm long (wide enough for a 70mm spool) and clips onto any standard 20mm V-Rail with ease. Tested to fit eSun, Polymaker, Boots Industries, Filaments.ca, and CreatorFuel filaments. This adapter is inspired by Spool Adapter by Redonix76: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2063959. Printer Settings: - Printer: Cetus3D - Rafts: No - Supports: Yes - Resolution: 0.4mm Nozzle, 0.3mm layers - Infill: 13% - Notes: Thinner layers (0.2mm or 0.15mm) with 15% infill are best.
