Fat Shark lens protectors with logos
thingiverse
Keep your Fat Shark goggles' lenses safe and LCD screens from accidental sun damage with these protectors when in transit or not in use. They slide into the diopter slots, featuring a 3mm diameter hole to hold an elastic band and a 0.5mm channel for secure band retention. The raised text and logo provide a comfortable grip for easy protector removal. I printed them using PLA at 0.1mm layer height with my Prusa i3 Mk3. Getting two-color prints on a single nozzle was seamless with Slic3r PE. In the Printer Settings, I added this line to the Custom G-code box: {if layer_num == 16}M600 ; Color change {endif}. The M600 code pauses printing until you unload and reload the filament, then resumes printing. In the Slic3r preview, ensure that layer 17 is when the logo starts printing; otherwise, adjust the layer_num setting. I'm not sure about color changes on specific layers for other printers; you'll need to investigate. Included are protectors with Fat Shark's original fonts and new font options. You can choose left or right versions of Autobots and Decepticons icons, as well as one icon on each side or both icons together. If you have logo suggestions, share them in the comments. By request, I added a Team Black Sheep logo version; to print it, select "Detect thin walls" in Slic3r. For better detail retention, ideally use a smaller nozzle than 0.4mm.
