Keep the lenses in your Fat Shark goggles safe and the LCD screens from accidentally burning in the sun with these protectors when in transit / not in use. They slot into where the diopters would go, with a 3mm diameter hole to hold a small elastic band and a 0.5mm channel for you to pull the band through which ensures it doesn't come out accidentally. The raised text/logo works as a grip for your thumb to slide the protectors out easily. ---------- I printed them in PLA at 0.1mm height with a Prusa i3 Mk3. ---------- Getting two colour prints like this with a single nozzle on my Mk3 was easy with Slic3r PE. In the "Printer Settings" / "Custom G-code" / "After layer change G-code" box I added this line: {if layer_num == 16}M600 ; Color change {endif} The M600 code makes my Mk3 stop and beep until you press the control knob to unload the current filament, then press again to load a new filament and carry on printing. In Slic3r preview you have to make sure that layer 17 is when the logo layer starts printing, otherwise adjust the layer_num setting accordingly. I don't know how easy it is to do colour change on specific layers on other printers, you'll have to find out for yourself. --------- Included are protectors with the original fonts of Fat Shark and the new font so you can pick which you want to match your goggles. There are left & right versions of the Autobots and Decepticons icons so you can choose which side you want them on and whether you want both icons or just one icon on both sides. If you have any ideas what other logos might work well, drop that suggestion in the comments. --------- By request I've added a Team Black Sheep logo version, to print this I had to select "Detect thin walls" in Slic3r. Ideally to retain better detail it needs to be printed with a smaller nozzle than the 0.4mm in my Prusa.
