"Fat Man" US Mk.3 Mockup

Alright, we've all seen the movie. And their prop SUCKED.This is a mockup of the US Mk.3 "Fat Man" system. The dimensions are taken from publicly available, declassified information and descriptions. Some "artistic liberties" had to be addressed due to lack of information (How do you locate and hold two spherical halves together, etc) with as much sense for the engineering and design of the time. Obviously the lenses can't be effectively modeled due to a complete lack of any data on how to do so, for obvious reasons. Nor would I be interested in modeling that, for even more obvious reasons.The outer casing is just a stand in as I obviously couldn't find any kind of information about it other than the number of pieces, bolts, and the alloy used.Enjoy!
