The Fasti Praenestini are one of the most important Roman calendars that have survived to this day. They were created in order to be displayed on the forum of the city of Praeneste towards the end of Emperor Augustus' reign. In them, we can observe the character of each day, the most important festivals of the calendar, and various annotations of significant events at the time. Currently, fragments of four months - January, March, April, and December - are on display at the National Roman Museum Palazzo Massimo Alle Terme in Rome, although small parts of February, August, September, and October also remain preserved. Thanks to high-resolution 3D virtualization, it is possible to read the festival annotations with all their details.
