Fastener for bags, handbags, backpacks etc. - "secure" version
thingiverse
My sister is an avid sewer and often creates unique bags. One day she spotted a lock that both she and her niece would have loved to own. Unfortunately, she was unable to capture a photo but provided me with a rough sketch - two lines, each representing one perspective - to work from. I meticulously recreated this drawing using a perspective view and we confirmed our design together. Following that, it only took a short time in Fusion 360 for me to print some variations of the design. Thicker, thinner, tighter - you name it! And guess what: my sister is thrilled with the result! Don't take the "secure" aspect too seriously; it's simply added to illustrate that the ring will be less likely to slip out of its clip on its own easily. As a result, you might need to use both hands to open the fastener. If you're interested in modifying the design, consider making it bigger, smaller or rounder - lucky for you, I've included the Fusion 360 and Step File, which should make it easy to alter the design.
