Print in under 25 minutes!!! 100 mm x 100 mm x 3mm (x/y/z) calibration square X + Y mark Steps for Calibration X/Y Axis: 1. Connect to your printer via a USB connection (direct to computer or Octoprint, etc.) 2. Issue the M503 command 3. Scroll back through the output of the M503 command and look for the M92 output. For example: "echo: M92 X88.0 Y99.0 Z2560.00 E100.0" 4. Measure top + bottom X and Y, then calculate average values. For example: X-Average 100.3, Y-Average 100.4 5. Use the formula to determine new M92 values: New M92 value = Desired movement / Actual movement * Current M92 value 6. Create the new M92 command by replacing the X and Y values with the new calculated values: "M92 X87.74 Y98.61 Z2560.00 E100.0" 7. Place this line in the Startup GCODE in your slicer. In Simplify3D, it's placed in Scripts --> Starting Script area. In Slic3r, it's in Printer Settings --> Custom G-code 8. Re-slice the Calibration square 9. Re-print the Calibration square 10. Mark and measure the new calibration square as in steps 4 above. Average the distances for X and Y. These should now be closer to 100.0mm 11. If you're satisfied with the results, you're done! 12. If the distances are not as close to 100mm as you desire, repeat the calibration process Note: When you change material, re-test dimensions and may need to re-calibrate your M92 values
