Fast Ball, with magnetic clasp
thingiverse
The Yellow_Thunderbolt.stl piece will require support structures, while the remaining pieces should print without any assistance. You'll need to print one copy of each file, except for the Side_Piece_Yellow.stl, which requires four copies. Attach two side pieces to both the top and bottom components, then secure the yellow thunderbolt into place within the top layer. Once you've assembled the lid and base, add the button and ring to the base with the hinge in position as you apply adhesive to the ring. Next, snap the hinge into the lid. Additionally, you'll need two magnets (1/4" X 1/16"). Simply attach them in place using glue. Since Netfabb is no longer available, these files have not been processed through a repair program. However, I've tested the preview from MakerWare Desktop and it appears that the pieces will print correctly, but please let me know if you encounter any issues. Tip: Print your dark blue base (bottom piece) at a higher infill percentage, around 40-50%, and then use 5-10% for all other parts. This will ensure the assembly is bottom-heavy and less prone to rolling around. Print Settings: Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 5-50% Notes: The Yellow_Thunderbolt.stl piece requires support structures, while the remaining pieces do not need any assistance.
