Farmhouse Advent Calendar (with tabs and slots)
thingiverse
UPDATE Nov 28 2016: I remixed the key to fit snugly. Amazed by ClassyGoat's fantastic Farmhouse Advent Calendar, but intimidated by building and gluing? Got a big build area like the Robo3D? Hate supports? This remix is for you! I made mechanical changes to make assembly easier: The walls now have tabs for easy gluing together - just apply glue to the tabs and clamp the walls until they set. The candy containers print as part of the walls, eliminating the need to line them up and glue them. Print 24 container_cap.stl and glue them on instead. Scaling down a bit might snap them on without gluing. I created a new F1 floor, larger and with slots for wall alignment and stability during gluing. The walls fit in tightly; you may have to sand or file off excess plastic. Because the walls sink into the floor, print my rescaled F1 railing instead of the original for better clearance. Consider skipping the Christmas Tree box as it might not fit with the built-in candy containers. I made a single-piece roof by printing it in ABS using an enclosure to prevent warping. You'll likely have better luck with PLA and may want to lower the air gap on the raft for tighter piece holding during the print, given its cantilevered shape. Print the original pieces from ClassyGoat's design and assemble according to those instructions. I printed all remixed parts at 0.3mm with no supports.
