Farm Windmill
thingiverse
This is a model of a windmill based on the seadraggin model (2612517) of the main blade structure, modified to include a hole for a 608 bearing that allows it to spin smoothly. The structure was also adjusted slightly so the blades would print more effectively. To complete this design, you'll need two 608 bearings - one in the top structure and another in the main blade assembly. I printed most of the parts at a layer height of .24 with 100% infill, except for the engine component. The design was crafted to avoid requiring any supports during printing. The tower is divided into several pieces that need to be glued together after they're printed. Notably, the bottom four pieces print upside down.
