Farm House 3D model

July 22. I launched my first major project that day, one that consumed me for 15 long days until its completion on August 6. I designed the model with precision, creating high-poly details that rivaled anything I'd ever made. My attention to interior details shone through in every meticulous texture and nuanced drawing. Throughout the project, I pushed myself to perfect my view of a house from both the street and within its walls. The results were promising, save for one aspect – my proficiency with rendering, which still needs work. In fact, it took me one tedious session with EEVEE to achieve a satisfactory finish. The goal had been ambitious: to handle every element by myself, crafting each model, material, drawing, and texture from scratch. But reality soon proved more daunting, forcing me to supplement my work with resources from Sharesubstance to expedite progress. It was a valuable lesson in time management, one that serves as my first take-away from this experience: underestimate nothing – double your estimated timeframe from the start. This project also led to another breakthrough discovery for me - navigating the intricacies of moving data between Substance Designer and Blender, including my step-by-step approach to make this process smoother. And, not surprisingly, I came across yet another crucial aspect that would have been a challenge had it not become apparent during the project – planning ahead with precision. This may seem simple, but accurately mapping out each stage is essential, though often time constraints can play havoc with achieving this aim ideally; it's suggested you dedicate about an hour to careful planning to reap its full benefits.
