Farlig 550 Modular Quadcopter
thingiverse
After facing multiple crashes with my CrossFire quadcopter, I decided to create a custom machine featuring wooden arms. The design is still in development and features powerful motors, minimal filament usage for weight and cost savings, and modularity with front and rear accessory mounts. The design's current Blender file is available for modification or derivation. Future enhancements include incorporating a Raspberry Pi, a camera for live telemetry, LTE-FPV, and video recording using https://github.com/Hexagon/node-copter. Recent updates include adding a Raspberry PI Model B+ shelf, a podium-style mount for the arms, fixing non-manifold errors in the mesh, updating accessory shelves, and more. Stay tuned for further improvements!
