I designed this ball for a child who wanted a truncated icosahedron ball, similar to a soccer or football. However, I didn't realize until now that it's not suitable for kids. After investing hours into setting up the spheres with golden ratios nested inside other golden ratios, watching it print was a revelation I won't forget. I can see why someone might appreciate this design as a trophy topper for an overzealous football fan or even an American football enthusiast. If you're working on a project, feel free to incorporate this ball into your next creation. To ensure stability, manually add supports or let your slicer handle it. Using infill is also recommended since there's a sphere inside. I considered fixing the design, but the image has become too much for me to handle.
