I designed a straightforward fantasy knife for someone. The complete model, along with a cut version in three parts (plus some joiners), is now available online. To create the knife, I used minimal infill (only infill on top and bottom of the handle) and then hollowed out the rest with 3 perimeters. Next, I filled the blade and handle with plaster to make the item rigid and give it some mass. If you prefer to print and use the knife without filling the void, you'll likely want to use at least 30% or more infill for this item, depending on your printer's capabilities.
