Fantasy dagger
pinshape
Here's a fantasy-inspired knife design that I came up with as my first attempt. I'm not too proud of it, but I'd love to hear your thoughts on how I can improve for future designs - maybe even making it a hobby! I printed the blade with 15% infill and the handle with 20% to give them some extra stability. The print speed was set at 50mm/s to achieve good quality. All parts were printed using PLA filament, and I used my trusty Prusa i3 printer with a 210° nozzle temperature and a 50° bed temperature. Note: If the pins are too large, you can scale them down by about 1% for a snug fit. Also, since each part was only partially printed, feel free to mirror the STL file in your slicer program to complete the design!
