This creates a front blower fan mount and duct for the wanhao i3, ensuring the nozzle remains unobstructed. Support material can indeed be used, but it must not be internal. I have yet to test PLA, but I suspect it would fail without warping or sagging during operation. Print with PET, ABS, or any other filament that can handle the hotend's heat. The 2 M3 screws originally mounting the stock fan work perfectly for securing this one; you will also need 2 M3 nuts, an M4x20mm screw, and an M4 nut. Be cautious when handling the 2 fins that hold the blower fan in place – they are quite fragile. I have successfully tested this on my Wanhao i3 v2.
