Fan Duct for Mankati Full Scale XT Plus with Dual E3DV6 hotends After equipping my Mankati Fullscale XT Plus 3D printer with two E3D-V6 hotends, the original Mankati fan duct that was far from ideal no longer fit, so I designed a new one. This fan duct has been designed with several key criteria in mind: The airflow must be directed away from the hotends as much as possible. The airflow must surround the object being printed from all sides. The fan duct should have a shape that takes into account friction of the airflow, resulting in consistent airflow from all sides of the printed object. When 3D printing the fan duct, no support structures are needed because all angles are steeper than or equal to 45°. The fan duct is designed to be suitable for the 45x45 mm radial fan used in the Mankati printer (among others). The design is optimized for printing with a 0.4 mm nozzle. Note: This fan duct will also fit with the original hotends of the Mankati printer in place, and it's a significant improvement over the original Mankati fan duct. Note 2: Since the Mankati printer is an Ultimaker clone (just a bit bigger), I assume this fan duct could also be used on an Ultimaker. Happy printing! Hotend temp: 270° C (Probably actually 255°C since the temp reading is quite a bit off with the Mankati) Bed temp: 90° C Bed surface: Buildtak (not quite suitable for these high temperatures). Total weight of the fanduct (using Polycarbonate) = 24 grams.
