Fancy Feast Royal Canin Cat Food Lid
thingiverse
This is a custom cat food lid designed for small 3oz cans that often lack lids. I created this project as a fun way to hone my design skills, and it features a slight undercut in the lip for a secure snap fit. The lid is printed using ABS plastic and takes into account its shrink properties during printing. If you're using a different type of plastic, you may need to adjust the scale for optimal fit. Enjoy your prints! Update: dungbeetle24 kindly designed a ring that attaches to the lids to make stacking cans more secure; it can be glued or welded with acetone. For details on how to use this accessory, check out the design at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1547547 Print Settings: Printer Brand: SeeMeCNC Printer: Rostock MAX Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.3mm Infill: Solid Notes: This print is relatively straightforward; however, finer layers can be used if desired. Be sure to trim the inside of the rim after printing to ensure a smooth finish.
