Fancy Clock
thingiverse
It's a clock! The face is 280mm in diameter. The hands are designed for a Quartz clock mechanism, which may require some scaling to fit perfectly with the printer's accuracy. You can also print just the clock face and use the motor's included hands if you prefer. I chose to use the thin metal second hand that came with my mechanism. This guide includes an optional hanging bracket and spacer for the clock mechanism, but you might not need them depending on your specific model. Clock Mechanism: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0722MV73W/ref=sspa_dk_detail_6?psc=1 Instructions: • To print the clock face, start with it facing down. • Use a 3mm layer height and print four bottom layers. • Set the infill to 5%. For the clock hands: • Print them facing down as well. • Use a 1.4mm layer height and solid infill. The bracket requires supports during printing and has the following settings: • 3mm layer height • 5% infill The spacer also uses 3mm layers and 5% infill.
