This pattern is a direct carryover from my CNC router woodworking pieces. Even though it appears to be a flat two-dimensional design, when it's printed with thickness, it stands on its own and looks great. Simply print it flat on its back, and you'll find that it requires no rafts or supports, printing very smoothly in the process. At full scale, the piece measures 147.46mm (5.8 inches) wide by 130.48mm (5.14 inches) high by 15.24mm (0.6 inches) thick. The samples shown in the photo were printed using eSun PLA+ with a five-layer top and bottom pattern and three layers of perimeter printing. I thought it would be an interesting variation to print one with the infill pattern visible, so this one was printed with zero top and bottom layers, three perimeter layers, and 35% infill using the fast honeycomb pattern in Simplify3D slicer. It looks great hanging on a wall or sitting well on a shelf, countertop, or desk, making it an excellent gift for someone who loves cats. Besides my wooden pieces created with the CNC router, I've printed this design in both black PETG and white PLA with exceptional results, and I've given them all away as gifts. Enjoy!
