Fanatic rake cales for Aero HA / Flow Aluminium fuselage
thingiverse
Despite I own Fanatic board 5.8 2022 with Fanatic AL 3.0 mast and 78cm fuselage, It seems something is not well adjusted for my weight (87kg). Even with Aero HA 2000, 1750 or 1500 , I always need to change rake. The cale include in the set (-0.25 and -0.50) aren't suffisant for medium to strong wind. Morever the hole size is for M8 but we have M6 on stabilizer ! So, I design these part to have a nice adjustement of the stabiliser (300 or 250) and correct the "always pitch up" attitude even with the -0.50 degrees cale. My design aren't in degree but in mm deviation from base. -0.975 is the size after -0.50 - the one include in the foil kit - My range are from -0.975, -1.200, -1.400, -1.600, -1.8000 and -2.000 mm. If you find -0.50 is not enought try -0.975 then -1.200 etc... I suppose -0.975 and -1.200 is more than enough but when wing is oversized and you don't have smaller foil, you will be happy to have these lower negative stab rake to avoid go in direction of the moon in each sudden wind rise. TIPS: if you find the genuine black -0.50 is not enough, you can start to test with the -1.400 and then adjust. ATTENTION: I also design this part for base of Mast (-0.44 degrees and -1.00 degrees) https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5553204 [EDIT 20221023]: thickness to angle mapping -0.975: -0.695 degrees -1.200: -0.855 degrees -1.400: -0.998 degrees -1.600: -1.140 degrees -1.800: -1.283 degrees -2.000: -1.426 degrees (reminder set include with Fanatic Aero Foils are cales -0.50 -0.25 0.25 0.50)
