Fanatec CSL pedals gaming chair support
thingiverse
This is a cheap and compact solution to “tie” the Fanatec CSL pedals to your office or gaming chair, in a similar way that some wheel stand manufacturers are proposing.I do not have much space for a wheel stand so I just mount the wheel to my desktop using the Fanatec cable clamp. Now I can push my brakes strongly without moving backwards. This will fit wheel chairs with a maximum separation of 450mm between wheels.Used materials:• 2 V-Slot 20x40 aluminum profiles. I had a couple lying around of 331 mm length. I am 1.7 m tall and still can move the stoppers about 50mm further, so maybe you should use larger ones if you are much taller.• 2 steel shelf brackets 80x80 or similar• 10 M5 t-nuts• 8 M4 t-nuts (to fix the 4 feet). I used this ones : https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3366563• 8 M5x8 button head screws• 4 M5x10 button head screws• 8 M4x8 button head screws• 4 M4x25 plain head screws (to fix the printed supports to the CSL pedal base)• 4 M4 nuts and washersPrinted parts:• 1 left support (I recommend ABS or PETG)• 1 right support (I recommend ABS or PETG)• 4 foot (I used flex TPU)• 4 aluminum profile caps (PLA is fine). Not mandatory. You can find them in any PRUSA I3 Bear Upgrade ProjectOptionally, you can replace both steel brackets for another 460mm length aluminum profile. Sure it will look nicer.
