Fanatec Clubsport Shifter SQ & Handbrake Spacer
thingiverse
I created a customized washer to serve as a spacer when attaching the Fanatec Handbrake to the Fanatec Shifter. When setting up the shifter on your right, I found the handbrake to be extremely close to gear shift while shifting into 5th and 7th gears, which means I have to shift into 7th often. It's 3cm long, just enough to prevent me from banging my knuckles when shifting. I got the idea from Jimmy Broadbent after seeing how he used a ton of washers as spacers, so I thought something like this would look neater and save scratching anything with metal washers. Print two using 100% infill and attach them with some 40mm long M5 bolts or machine screws that came with the shifter. The slip nuts also help keep everything in place. The tolerance or inner hole is quite tight inside to prevent everything from moving around. This is my first make, although it's just a simple customized job, I hope it's useful to someone.
