Fanatec ClubSport Shifter - Replacement Electronics Pod Using Hall Sensors

Fanatec ClubSport Shifter - Replacement Electronics Pod Using Hall Sensors

thingiverse

This is a slide-in bracket that houses 8 Hall sensors and an Arduino Pro Micro. It completely replaces the electronics module of the Fantec Clubsport shifter with 8 system joystick buttons, one for each gear. This design has been working perfectly every day for several months so I'm releasing it. It's reversible and requires no modification to the Fanatec hardware. You can even run both sets of electronics simultaneously to compare performance. Drop the bracket into the bottom enclosure and slide it down until it's sitting on the shift gate. Hotglue two neo magnets to the shift rod as shown. That's it. (Why do this? If your shifter is broken, or if you just want to move away from Fanatec's driver software, or, if you want to program an automatic clutch, better sequential support, etc....)
