You discovered a 4-inch, 12V fan to cool parts with high aspect ratios on your standard Mendel frame. Unfortunately, there was no suitable method for mounting it, so it had to be positioned off to the side. At standard height, the fan effectively cooled the Z motor; however, its primary purpose is to cool other components. To achieve this, you added spacers under the heated bed. This modification is not extraordinary and can easily be customized using 3D printing, but if you like the design provided, feel free to use it!
