This works pretty good. Mostly it takes the harsh high tones out of the sound due to the metal on metal vibration conduction. It makes the sound much more pleasant over the original setup. I remixed this in that I added a bit of a set-back so it would fit with my USB cable in place, and a slight angle so it blows more centered on my 2209 stepper drivers. I also removed the fillets around the some edges so it would print easier. Don't expect miracles, but I'm pleased with the sound reduction. I used odd bolts, washers, and screws that I had laying around; also 4 rubber o-rings worked perfect. If you don't need the slight angle then just go with the original. I mounted mine the reverse of the original as I wanted any metal items that could fall off to be away from major components.
